What songs to post on websites?

So, I have been thinking about this for a while. My band is recording its 7 track album, but should we put all 7 on the web for everyone to see? Or, should we simply put the best 3 or 4 on there, and use that as a reason for people to buy the album, for the remaining tracks? I am torn, because I don't know which songs will be the best representation of our music, or the 3 that people will like the best. What does TB think of the situation?

I would ask friends that really know alot about that kind of music to select the 3-4 best and most catchy ones.

Then, if you decide to put the whole album on your website, make sure to put the best songs at the top of the list so that people listen to them first. If you decide to only post a few of them, you now know which ones to show.

You could put 30-45 seconds of each song on the site to give them a general sense of your style.

Or, go for it, put all the songs on the site and ask people to pay what they feel, individually or for the entire EP. If they download all songs and donate $X, they get a t-shirt or a signed poster or etc. Create value but offer options.
