What strings are these?

Hi, got those on my bass i have bought. I am flat guy, but kinda like these rounds, any idea to which brand this bordou/red/violet wrap refers to? Diameter is about 42-103 so i guess 40-100, not sire if the wrap color is the same. Thanks

Do they have silk at the ball end as well? What color(s) are the ball ends themselves?

Measure the length of the E string from the ball end to the start of the silk at the tuner end. Thanks.

92 cm = 36.22". That's shorter than most "long scale" strings by major manufacturers.

Based on where you're located, I would guess it's one of the European brands I'm not familiar with. Sorry I can't help you any better.

Reading is underrated. Thanks Michael! I'm trying to look at different strings to help this guy but aside from Warwick or maybe a house brand like Thomann's I don't know what those are.

Heya guys, thanks for trying, hih. I can surely say,these are not the warwick i do have now, as got some in the red package at home and no wrapping at all.

The thing is that your strings have red silk and a lot of makers have used red at some point. They could be something like Thomastik. What color are the ball ends? That would make a difference.

I've seen no name strings online that have what these have. I want to say that Warwick red label strings had red silk before now and the wraps where the silk is looks very close to that. I want to guess that it's either Warwick or coming from the same plant that builds the strings for them. But it's an older set before they ditched the silk. You have a really interesting set of strings. Hopefully they sound good and hold up for you.
