WHAT STRINGS FOR MY NEW BASS

I am a jazz guitarist and I recently purchased the ibanez gsr200 and it is my first bass.

I am planning to swap out the strings but I don't know which strings I should get.

I am planning to play some jazzy bass line and maybe even slap so I am looking for round wound strings. I want the strings to be less than 20$. Any suggestion to what bass string will suit me the most?

Also, what gauge string should I buy?

For an all-purpose NPS roundwound, I like the GHS Bassics. I just put the light set (40-58-80-102) on my P bass to try out for the next few months.
