Please help me, I have a 1st world problem. I can't sleep at night, I'm tossing and turning, I had 3 panic attacks in a row yesterday and I need answers.

What to buy for BlAcK FrIdAy!!??

I know I want something bass related, I don't want to buy a new bass because I like the one I have.

I was thinking somewhere around a 200-250 dollar budget after discounts.

Assuming discounts on black friday are in the 30% range, should I bother getting myself a new bass amp? How about pickups?
How about a nice fuzz pedal, I really want one.
I just don't know, what is the best bang for the buck for bass players during this difficult time?

Thanks

I have a recording deck, its an oldie but not a bad one. Tascam DP01 with 40gb hard drive does the job for me.

I just want a pedal, f--k it.

Will darkglass have any pedals discounted heavily? Im dying to buy a B3K or B7K on discount, maybe a duality.

I'm not a fan of spending money because you want to, and especially not on Black Friday when many stores are just mob scenes. I'd pay more to stay out of that.

However - one thing you will be able to use for a long time is a stereo digital recorder. I have one of the Yamaha Pocketrak recorders similar to this, sound quality is excellent, and they are REALLY handy. They record well at practices or during gigs (just mount one on a monopod and tape the monopod to a pillar near the playing area.) A good investment in recording yourself for a long time.
