What to do when you get this in the mail?

. Why they even showed that on tv is 
lol. Its not so much that they dented my precious VT pedal tin. Its more that there was an item IN the tin that should have been secured or shipped separately from the bass case. That is what is bothersome. And the pedal sounds like it works for now, but who is to say that there could be damage due to it pitching about inside a large cavernous box with little padding.
But more to the point. It shows disrespect to the item's importance and disrespect to the buyer. Items don't have to be expensive to be important. What is inexpensive to you might be a lot of money to someone else.
On the upside, MF returned my email and was prepared to do whatever it takes to make it right. I would say that they have demonstrated solid customer service concerning this issue. They also acknowledged that the item what not packaged correctly and that they will forward the info and pictures sent to the right people to try to avoid this situation in the future. So + 1 for their customer service.
I would be pissed.
A product you paid for came to your door damaged. Period.
You didn't buy a dented tin.
If your pedal works, and your case is fine, and the only thing that is damaged is your tin, I would send an e-mail along with those pictures of your damaged tin to whoever it was you bought it from, and demand a mint condition tin, packaged properly, and sent to you on their dime. Send them a link to this thread, and make sure you tell them the whole situation is being documented for the whole bass playing world to see, so the sooner they resolve the situation to YOUR satisfaction, the sooner this thread will have a happy ending.
