Hey y'all, about three weeks ago I played my final concert with my college jazz band and I used my trusty Fender Rumble 200. The stage director asked if I wanted to run through the house and I said sure, and in my haste I (very stupidly) plugged the 1/4" cable from the PA into the external speaker jack and turned it on. I heard a loud bass note for all of a second then a pop, and the smell of smoke coming from the combo.
Stupid, I know, but I'm wondering what can be done with the combo now. I'm not sure if it's the head or the speaker that's toast, but it's unusable. Can I get it repaired or should I just turn it into a speaker cabinet?
