So I have been in the market for a new bass amp for quite some time. I have talked to various bass players and though I had my mind made up. A TC Electronic 2x10 and a Eden WT series head...
The rig would cost me about $1000 but I am not sold on the idea....
I mostly play at churches and gigs where I would be playing through my amp but also through PA. Therefore I find it hard to justify having something super big. Yet on the other hand, I want something that looks badass, not like a little practice amp that I carry around.
As for tone, I like having my highs and mids pierce through and my lows not sagging around.
I am open to absolutely anything, combos, heads + cabs. I have been looking at Ashdown, Eden, TC, Orange, Markbass, Hartke.
I want to be nice to my wallet as well. But do I want a 1x15 combo? 2x10 cab? Gahh! Someone give me a little guidance?
