TU-2 for me The additional bypass output has proved itself really handy on my board, so I deal with the buffer, which is actually pretty good to begin with. I just take it out of the chain and put it on the tuner out from my amp when I'm recording.

I have a Polytune I really like a lot but I saw the red Snarks on Amazon for something like $12.49 each on Amazon a few months ago so, based on the raves my instructor gave it, I bought two since they were so cheap. They work well enough that I hardly use the Polytune now.

Im probably the only one on this forum who dares admit he owns a TU-1000. Basically, i dont use any pedals except for a tuner, so i thought i would just go all out and a big fancy, oversized tuner. Plus my eyesight aint great.

Suprisingly its a pretty good tuner. Fast tracking, accurate, and very easy to read in all lighting conditions.

I use the tuner in the Zoom pedals.

Same here.The Zoom 506II mutes your output and kicks in the tuner if you hold down both pedals. It works great except for 2 situations:

1. You're playing outside on a sunny day. The LED display is impossible to see in direct sunlight.
2. You need to tune down by a half-step. It only lets you tune to whole steps.

I have about three of those little Sabine STX1100 tuners that live in the cases. For my '30s Regal resonator, an Intellitouch peghead tuner that works well, if not terribly accurately. Since I play with a slide, intonation isn't that critical. I can always adjust a little back and forth.

For bass intonation, I have a Peterson V-SAM, and, to tune my Godin A5 fretless at jams, I use a Peterson iPhone app with a Peavey interface (although the app works fine by mic'ing the sound).

Peterson for accuracy, Sabine for convenience and price, Intellitouch for special situations.
