Some kind of Radio Shack bass amp with a single 15. It sucked but it was all I had. This was back in the early 80's I think.
topcat2069 said:Same starter but I stepped up to an Ampeg B-15N. and later I built a 2X15 cab with the B-15N head as the amp. Used that until I got into Acoustic Control Corp. stuff. (B150, B140 & 450 and the 2X15 cab I built)
A Gibson Thor. Hadn't thought about it in, well, decades. 50 watts, solid state, two 10s. Got it in 1967. I don't remember what happened to it, I think it was stolen out of my car in 1971. Even found a picture of one:

The classic '67 blackface Bassman with a 2x15 Fender cab.
I still have the Bassman amp, now with a grounded AC cord on it.
1981 Peavey 115 combo amp with a 15" Black Widow.

I used a Radio Shack 15" driver just laying in it's cardboard shipping box as an extension speaker for my Deluxe Reverb. It sounded pretty good.
