What would you do if someone gave you total creative freedom?

Maybe cow bones?
I have found some horse scapula bones that come close to the sizes I need. Not to get off on a grisly tangent, but I think a bone top and inlaid vertebrae on the back *could* make for a very unique and interesting instrument.

Grisly Tangent, maybe they could open for Aggressive Rasp. Back to the topic at hand if you got a full rib cage from something large enough, using that for top and back inlays would be cool. I'll tell you one thing, if I got asked to play at a PETA benifit...

;) A rib cage is a GREAT idea! A pelvis would look wicked as well. Check Invalid Link Removed out - if I could find one large enough it would have "best bass for metal" written all over it.

If you cut that in half and did a neck through you could use that for the body wings of a flying v type bass, make a bone nut, and bone bridge with under saddle piezo and you're off to the races.
Don't tempt me....I have too many builds going at once as it is. ;)

Use a headless design, put a skull at the head end...

Maybe next year's common...
