What would YOU do to save Gibson?

Honestly, I'm not in love with any of the Gibson basses at all. And what I've seen of my friends guitars, and used Gibson guitars in stores, I'd rather not buy an instrument that will have the headstock snapped off, or has already been repaired for that. This along with the well known tuning issue that would be solved if they just moved the tuning pegs around a little, keeps me in the anybody except for Gibson camp. I do like the sound of an SG or ES135. But these days I can get damn close with another brand of guitar, and some aftermarket pickups.
As far as basses I'll stick to Japanese Fenders and American Stingrays.

Henry is on the way out. The debt holders forced him to get rid of senior staff. That is a prelude to saying goodbye to Henry. The senior staff had to go so that the debt holders can put their own person in there and not worry about Henry loyalists getting in the way.

My guess is that the changes will be swift and brutal.
