what would you pay for a rewiring/set up?

My peavey T40 needs a rewiring and a set up (the bridge pickup is not working and the neck needs an adjustment). what would you say is a fair price for this?

In Australia in aussie dollars here is what i just paid for....
plek - $179
remove Aguilar obp-3 and re-wire bart pickups passive and insert two tapper switches - $75
Bone nut - $55
plus a bit for parts some orange drop caps and the 2x3 way tap switches to run series,parallel and single coil.

I had nordstrand pickups installed in a bass and a regular setup done (bridge, neck, clean pots, etc.) for about $30.

i guess my next question would be for those also located in NYC. Where have you gotten your basses fixed/set up? I have done business with the people at Rudy's music and i like them, but i live downtown, so i was thinking Matt Umanov Guitars.

The people at Matt Uminov are always great to me. I highly recommend them. Of course, if you really like Rudy's, it's only a 10-15 subway ride to Midtown, right?

Down here in D.C. I pay $65/hr for my local shop excluding parts. I do my own set ups but a typical set up is about an hr's worth time.

I do my own work on my basses, so $0 for me .
Around here though, most guys charge about $20/hr of work.
