As a kid who grew up with Twelve O Clock High tv and a fondness for building model B-17s and the smell of testers glue that went with it, I'm digging Masters Of Air.

Return to Oz (1985). I'm a fan of the original books, and this movie is much more faithful to the source material. In contrast, I'm not a big fan of the original Oz, though I think The Wiz is rather Wonderful.

I should have known better when I saw it was made by John Carpenter. This is a collection of three short stories and each one is jacked up with a life lesson wrapped in. Oh, and Luke Skywalker is in it as a bonus. Wes Craven too, so you know what to expect.

Yep, i remember that one from somewhere in my past. Most likely high school since I had a daily study hall hour in the library. I’d gobble up all the periodicals the day they hit the rack and one of then had an article (with photos) about a B-17 being used at a gas station. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
The Memphis Belle is one of my favorite planes at the Museum of the USAF. I work about five minutes from it.
