As a "Family present" this year dad picked up a telescope. Checked out the Moon and Jupiter last night, pretty amazing!

Myself I got a much coveted iPod classic from the parents, a new wok from my little brother, as well as a bag of assorted percussion instruments from "Santa"

Although, a word of caution. My friend got his dog into the habit of jumping up and trying to catch his remote-controlled helicopter, only for it to narrowly escape every time.

He never really gave much though as to what the dog would do if it one day managed to catch the helicopter, which it eventually did. Needless to say, it wasn't too pleasant for the helicopter.

From my parents I got some really nice steak knives in a block plus a gift card to a local butcher shop.

From my kids I got a bald man's comb(hahahaha),mouthwash,roll of duct tape ,bag of mixed nuts ,a bowl made out of a record and a bottle of jolt cola.

Bet of all was everybody is healthy ,happy and I paid cash for everything so no new unnecessary debt!

I've killed a few of those havoc heli's as well...the dual-main prop design just can't take a crash.

My old man has gotten involved with flying RC helicopters as well.

Each time he gets a new one, he gets a few sets of spare main rotors, tail rotors, landing gear and a few other parts.

They don't take a beating at all.

I got a rad Rush shirt, some records, three CDs (Chicago, Rush 2112, and a Zeppelin album), two books on steam power and the history of modern technology, a Superbird model car kit, some miscellaneous stuff, and a fretless SX P bass.

I got an iPad from my parents. Already loading a bunch of chord sheets to it in PDF format. Adobe acrobat reader is coming in handy! Looking forward to using it at church band practice on Thursday.

Otherwise I got a few gift cards and a boat load of candy. Oh, and a $50 bill from grandma.

Still have to exchange gifts with my girlfriend.
