well the title says it all... whats a good p/j bass? with a p bass style neck and realtively inexpensive would be nice any suggestions

I was just at Bass Northwest in Seattle a couple weeks ago. They are a bass specialty store that carries basses of all prices and configurations. While I was messing around with an Ibanez Mikro (a passive P/J with a 28.6" scale), they mentioned that they carry a lot of Ibanez because they make excellent--and consistent--entry-level basses. Something like this would run about $200. I think the onboard preamp would be an advantage. You know how to change a battery once in awhile, right?i think i might just get a gsr 200 and advice bout them
