yeah no lie i have had previous Line 6 stuff and hated it but the entire M Series is gold....
pod, bass pod, and had one of their amps hated all that stuff
all these are at my house right now, unfortunately only the Gemini is mine to keep. l

I don't think I'm digging the modfactor....it's not it...it's me. I didn't dig my Markbass Chorus/Flanger, either....and that's some pretty nice pedals I'm turning my nose up at. I can dig a really light mod like on Tool's 46 & 2....but I dunno. I guess I'l play around with it for a few more days and see.
In other news, the Timeline is awesome and just tons of fun and pretty.
That Timeline does look fun. Does it sound, um, not digital? I've been thinking about swapping my analog delay for a digital one. The carbon copy is great, but I want something cleaner, and more precise at longer delays without going into digital (or analog) artifact mode.
I picked up a dl4 for $100 locally. Mainly using it on that "other" stringed instrument but it sounds awesome. Might send it to that drasp guy when I have the extra scratch....

It has a dBucket mode for analog sounds, a dTape mode for tape delays and a pristine digital delay. Also, filter, reverse, lo-fi, patterns, ice, volume swells, not to mention it looks hot in a dress.
Like Jean Baudin said, it pretty much does everything delay and then some.
This will be one of the least technical reviews ever given on tb.com, but really my only other experience with delays and reverb comes from my old Boss GT-10B and I pretty much ignored those effects, back then (ha...it was like 4 months ago). I'm pretty ignorant with a lot of this stuff (picture Excalibur being destributed to Smalls from the Sandlot....like back when he was wearing long billed hats and before he Benny made him a man....not the Sandusky way....anyways) but I'll try to give you a decent review using colorful adjectives.
First of, it sounds real. I don't know the scientific terms you guys use for this....I just know I switched to the Darkglass B3K because it sounded real...and not processed...and this sounds real and not processed. When I play a note and that note starts repeating, it's my exact bass sound that plays back to me. Not a processed fake copy of my bass sound. That to me is the most important part.
Now there's a TON of ways you can add artifacts and change the decay rate and all that jazz that it will take me months to really figure out....but, the way I see it, before I start looking at how a pedal can alter and destroy my sound, I like to see that it can retain it. And this thing can.
I haven't gotten to mess with the Filter or Lo-Fi a lot, yet.
This question will probably show how little exp I have....but is there a good resource online I can go to to learn about the different mod sources (like Sine, Triangle, Ramp, etc)? I'm totally ignorant with those. This has more to do with the Modfactor, though.
