What's Coming and Going XV: My Baby's Daddy...

Little brother!

Yeah, handling distortion is why I chose the DT too... almost got the Jr last week, but happy to have the modulation switch... Question is, will it knock the Timeline off my board?....

Hells yeah! I almost picked that one up too, but I'm not really a modulation guy. I've never have had the opportunity to try a Timeline, but hopefully the Jr. will have no problem kicking the Flashback off my board.

Heheh. Coming back is all too easy.

My final thoughts, and I'll add more to that thread, is that the software route is TOTALLY doable. For someone who has the crazy FX tastes that I do, it takes a person who can navigate through software with an interface more geared towards sound engineers......or a person with old school tastes in FX will have it easy with Guitar Rig. But it's just not to where someone with a MOAR TOANZ/button masher/knob turner attitude can thrive.......yet.

it doesn't say EHXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxxxxxxxxxx any more! woot!

IN: My Mountainking Magnetar

Holy crap, this thing beats the hell out of my mastotron like nothing else. Where has this pedal been all of my life? Now onto flipping Elements for a Behemoth!

Alan needs the big enclosures to fit all the win in there. Glad this pedal is finding some happy customers. It rules all day long.

The Behemoth doesn't do high gain like the Elements, the Behemoth is like '70s vintage low to med gain, the waveform and filter (both knobs roll off the highs so usually just use one or the other, or just a little bit of both) make it great for end of chain OD, you can give all the dirt before it a little extra clipping and fatness with it.

Happy doesn't begin to cover it. Also, the Magnetar is actually smaller than I expected. Don't get me wrong, it is still big, but not "crap, I can't fit it onto my pedalboard big." Actually, I really like the size and feel of it. Can't wait to play with it into my Xero for a bit!

They ARE big. Big enclosures for a BIGASS sound. The circuits are amazingly tiny though :ninja: MAGNETARRRRR

Do you have #10?

EDIT: You just WAIT till you put that sucker into your Xero. INCREDIBLE. Hit it with an octave down too. AXPLODES.
