In: Never thought I'd say this, GeminiDrive (from Valerus, many thanks again)
Haven't even gotten to play it yet, I need to search for some settings, any input would be cool.

Out: Fullton Bassdrive (non-mosfet) for now, I think

She finally came in. :)

I'm so glad I'm not looking for a chorus...

Unfortunately for my wallet, I AM looking for a chorus. :( lol

It's a Fromel Seraph. Custom-paint job. Cost me $300!

D-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-m-m-m-n-n-n-n, that's HOT. lol

I have to ask... To clarify: the pedal itself is $300, the paint job wasn't an ADDITIONAL $300 was it? Good Lord, I hope not, because now I want a Seraph even more than I did and OMG that paint job is SICK!

How do I go about ordering one? I know Tonefactor carries the line, but they say "Email for Ordering." Did you go through them or contact John Directly? I can't find any info about his pedals on the Interwebs. Shoot me a PM or something?

5sg.

Very neat looking, but if I were to ever get a pedal with Sauron on it, it would have to be a ring modulator. Only fitting really.

In (coming shortly): the newly published Tolkien book, and yet another flanger.

Whew! I was planning on the $300 price tag anyway.

So did you contact him directly or order from someplace online?

Invalid Link Removed there ya go! it's about a 2 month waitlist.

Hot damn that thing looks good!:bassist: (too bad its just a chorus lookin' all badass like :p)

haha I know. If it were a fuzz it would be 10x as cool but I still think it's pretty b.a.

All knobs at 12 and switches up. Adjust top two to unity (mines about 11 for unity), and then the bottom two for gain and treble taste. Switch the middle switch for a bassier overdrive.

This may be of interest to you:

Here is the basics of the arrangement:

MOD 1 up / MOD 2 up => 2x1N914 and 1x1N914
MOD 1 up / MOD 2 down => 2x1N914 and Red LED
MOD 1 down / MOD 2 down = > Red LED and Red LED
MOD 1 down / MOD 2 up => Red LED and 1x1N914

Basicly, you will be getting 3 different assym. clipping and 1 LED sym. clipping options, on top of the Gemini mod and other controls.
And:

Ok, let's clarify some stuff Gemini toggle => at simplest terms; it switches between two completely different mixing of clean boost and overdrive.

Up position -> Gemini MOD

Overdrive channel => Roll of frequencies over 340hz and changes how it clips (make it more tamed, rounder). This established a nice overdrive sound, without being boomy/mushy. Sits well in the mix and blends perfectly with the below clean boost.

Clean channel => Roll of frequencies under 6-7Khz. Take away the sizzle and leave that part to the overdrive channel. It is there to suport its evil twin, completes it. By itself, it will sound like as if you roll off your tone knob, but the effect is less pronounced.

GeminiMod is a new way of mixing I implemented to overcome the drawbacks of plain blend. As far as I know, no other pedal utilize a similar technology. The other unique feature is the clipping diode MOD sellector toggles, located just below the gemini toggle.

Down Position -> normal MOD

OverDrive Channel => Untamed high gain overdrive with lots of high end sizzle (can be rolled of with the tone knob). It rages like a frustrated angry dog, just had been interrupted while following her/his primal instict. Some of you may even think of it as a very high gain (but organic, not synthish) fuzz based on how it sounds. If your pickups are microphonic, this mod will let you know at that instant.

Clean Channel => Unfiltered HI-FI clean boost, lots of headroom.

She finally came in. :)
