Considering that I just reorganized our whole basement in order to more than double my shop space, I think I owe her at least a few dozen pairs of tweezers!

Where’s your build thread? NBD thread at least? Sound clips?
Thats a Gittler bass. @TerribleTim68 said he was more of a metal worker so I meant that as a response to his comment. I would like to have the metal working tools to be able to do that!

Good to see you, Malpeglo. Is that a piezo bridge or what’s the battery for?

Always dig a Maple Build. Super-Strat?
Sorry to hear about the medical issues good vibes for good health headed your way...Entering the build-off is not out of the question, but we'll have to see. I still never finished my entry from last year. I've been dealing with some medical issues, but am feeling a bit better lately. We'll see.
Thanks, yes, I was real happy with the grain on this one. Its a pre-made body that I majorly modified and then finished. Just a satin finish though - I don't have the strength or desire to buff it out to gloss just yet.
Heh, I guess that depend on your definition of a Super-Strat - everyone's definition seems to vary a bit. I found an Elite Strat neck at a nice discount, so it'll be a Fender Branded guitar. I already have an Elite Strat (and a Tele for that matter) and I have to say that Fender really out did themselves with the Elite neck profile. I jumped on that neck when I saw it. Not as impressed with their Ultra series though.

You can use those same skills to build a bass, here's something that's been on my bench for a bit,Yeah, I'm for sure more of a metal fabricator, so my first bass build will be a journey for sure! I can do quite a bit with a stomp sheer, box brake, shrinker/stretcher, tubing bender, a welder and a cutting torch. But when someone says "Let's build a wood thing" I get a glazed over look and start searching for the nearest exit. This was also yesterday, building trailing arms for the rear suspension on the weird looking guitar -
