Whats the deal with Modulus?

I played a GVJ4 when i was in NYC a couple weeks ago and now I'm DYING for one!
Anybody got 2 grand i can borrow for a bit?:help:

Dude...
I just sold one for $900

Don't get me wrong I loved it...I just needed the money for something else.

:hiding:;)

Is that the one you picked up off of TB? The one that Flea actually used? Nice!

Did anyone happen to see that Q4 go on eBay today for $610? I would have bought it but if I have any more boxes coming to my house I will surely be sleeping outside.

Nope, I ended up passing.
I got mine brand new from Tony @ Planet Bass (my Modulus guy!). If you look on their website you can still see it listed. :)
It's the dark velvet cherry over flamed maple with the J+MM setup and white pickguard.

Sounds ridiculously amazing!

I've owned a Q5, and I agree. It was the most versatile bass I've ever owned or played. To this day I wish I never sold it. Now I look at them and think I'll never be able to afford another.

Agreed. I owned a Burnt Sienna Q5 with preamp and Bartolini's and it was truly the best sounding bass I've ever owned. I sold mine because I joined a group were I needed the vintage tones and couldn't afford to hold onto it. I sure miss that bass.:bawl:
