It took me a while to realize that the "bass is easier than guitar" thing came from Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
Yes, bass is easier than guitar on Rock Band.
More so over the last 5 years up until last year, now that these monkey games are out of fashion.
When I started playing trumpet in fifth grade, someone asked to see my trumpet. They have three valves, so she laughed and said "you can only play three notes on it?!" and walked away before I could prove to her otherwise.
Nathan East said he started playing bass because it's easier than guitar.

My cousin and I play duo style git+bass in bars with just tube amps on cabs. We went into talk to a bar owner about playing and after explaining our gear and sound to him he wondered why we couldn't connect to the 1/8" RCA jack for his digital jukebox's aux in. "The DJ's have no problem doing it."

This would now mark the fourth time I have come to this thread to make a post. Yeah, it kind of sucks being a bassist in my area.

I understand the "Ex" part.
I made the biggest mistake in my twenties to choose between the girlfriend and the band and I made the wrong choice.
A girlfriend who wants to make you quit certain things just wants you on a short leash like a puppy.
