Whats the hardest song you play?

Never really thought about it. Still trying to get teen town down. Most of the head is good except for the second phrase.
I've also been working on Between the Buried and me's prequel to the sequel. I can get through the first five minutes of it, but not without a couple serious mistakes. It'll get there though.

Anything off of Metallica's And Justice For All...man...those Jason Newsted lines just kill me :) J/K...everyone knows there is no bass on that album...right? For real...probably 'Do I Do' by Stevie Wonder. Nate Watts just kills that late 70's 2 Band Stingray on that song!

I honestly do not find anything to be very difficult to play. When listening to a cover, it is sometimes difficult to figure out what is being played, but I'm at the point where I can play everything I have ever wanted to and am bored because I cannot find anything challenging to play. The most difficult song I've had to learn is The Real Me by The Who but I can play it with ease. The hard part was figuring out the notes, playing them is the easy part.

"Ain't No Cuttin' Loose" James Cotton 100% Cotton Blues Band. Met the boys many times and I can't think of the bass players name (my apologies) but that pattern is one of thoughs ..my fingers, wrist and hand are cramping, tightening turning blue and some one take this damn thing home quick!!!
Again a very busy line thats not difficult but 3 minutes in your looking to get out no matter how you try to relax but it is a great tune that rips it up live. Cotton is not doing great right now but hes still out there and in the 70s and 80s the 100% Cotton band was tearing it up and Jimmy was the man!!! Doc

There's a guy on YT who does it really well. I am definitely not a fan of DD or any of that genre of music, but that is a cool *** bass line. Ghost notes are perfect. JT is bad ***.


I can't find the video I was talking about ( It's been a year or so since I was checking it out), but I did find this one again. Not perfect, but she sure is fun to watch. :)

I just did a show that had Cruise Missile by Steve Morse in the set. After a bit of practice, the parts themselves weren't too tough. The real challenge with that song is locking in all the unison parts with the guitarist, and staying in time with all the crazy syncopated stuff the drummer is doing. We had YYZ, La Villa Strangiato, Blood Sucking Leeches by the Dregs, and Far Beyond the Sun by Malmsteen in that set, but Cruise Missile was the one we stressed the most over.
