what's the name of the bass?

    i would like to know more about this bass !

    It's a Fender Jazz but I have no idea what the player has named it. Maybe Bertha or Irene.:)

    Yeah i know it's a Fender j-bass but whats the serial number and all..

    How is anyone to know what the serial number is on that bass from just this pic?

    Maybe he didn't mean serial number, but the name of the specific Fender model. It's a standard 1970's Jazz, with a natural body finish, rosewood board, and pearl blocks. They have a few models in current production that are pretty similar, but I don't know of one that's exactly identical in appearance.

    right, thanks but what's about the body? is it maple, ash ?

    Alder body, unless I'm mistaken. Maple neck too.

    Appears to be some sort of 70's Jazz. Find out who's playing and Google him.
