Yes. I have bassbar 4.0 pickups in two different basses. They work well, sound great

Those are Lace Alumitone pickups and they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Unique design where the aluminum shell eliminates the need for a copper wire coil. Very clear sound with broad frequency response. I like them quite a bit.

Lace has been around a long time, if you do a search lots of threads will come up. Unfortunately, there’s no great sound comparison out there that shows off different styles like other pickup brands invest in.

They’re ridiculously light weight wise.

They’re associated with a very broad frequency response, which takes EQ changes early in the chain pretty well. Some think they come across as sterile. In some clips they sound like QTuners, while in others they sound completely different.

I've used those a lot over the years... impedance is different than traditional copper wire-on-bobbin pups, so they don't always play nice with other types. Not as noise-resistant as some - but pretty good at humbucking

I use Lace Alumibars in a 5 string ESP LTD E5. They not only have good tone but their Passive output rivals the signal level of when they are using the active preamp. They have a clean excellent tone.

They have a pretty good reputation in some circles. I haven't tried them but they're tempting.

Lace has been making these for a while now, and they come in a lot of configurations. Your link is to one of their guitar pickups, they have a bunch of different Alumitone bass pickups in the usual bass pickup shapes.

They’re based in Orange County, I went to a “garage sale” of theirs and picked up a few things, including an empty body of one of the basses they used to have.
Here are a couple with all the hardware and electronics…

Neck through construction, and the Strat-style input jack is in the back. But it works, and is not awkward.

I tried the alumitone single in place of a hot gold sensor once and it wasn't bad, but I put the hot gold back in right away
