Yes, “Good Times”, and in some people’s perspective, “Rapper’s Delight”, but it was also the inspiration for Queen’s “Another One Bites The Dust” as well, although certainly not the same riffs.

LOL I do it upside down (lefty with a right-handed bass). When it was my only option and the only way I approached the instrument it was still just learning where to put one's fingers and where the notes are.

I understand what you are saying in that when I pick up a lefty instrument I have to stop and think about where I am more so than my righty daily drivers.

Still trying to understand playing up side down. Obviously access to the upper register must be less than ideal. Also say slapping and popping an octave quickly in one motion. Slapping on the E string and popping the D string for example, what does the technique look like? Unless your slapping with your ring finger and popping with your thumb? Maybe I'm missing something here. Like I said I have absolutely no experience playing upside down, just trying to wrap my head around it.

I am happy to try to help and also learn myself: Firstly, I don't slap, pop or breakdance so I can't help with any of that. Mono Neon is all over that though, upside down and backwards and all. If I snap a string for emphasis it is probably the same process you use? Finger under the string quickly. Not that spectacular lol

E/Eb on the G string and an open B on a fiver? Pluck/strum the two strings together? Palm/slight mute for eighth note? How do you play it?
