What's up with Elixir?

I started using Elixir strings when they first emerged on the scene. I had an endorsement for a few years and continued using them even after that.
They've always been pricey but lately they are like TI price and what's worse is they're hard to find.
Are they going out of business or something?

Elixir is back in business!!!

It's not just Elixer. All the brands that I checked seem to be up 15-20% over this time last year.
