I don’t know for sure. But are the speakers for a car system?

Does it work without faulting the amp? I know my early Henry the 8x8 is wired parallel with 32 ohm speakers. Pyle Blue Wave 8” speakers are 4 ohm (according to Google search). Re-wiring the cabinet could fix the 4 ohm speaker issue, but I generally assume anyone using those speakers in that cabinet has no idea what they are doing.

Best of both worlds at a bargain price: heavier-than-hell and totally useless sonic palette. Offer $20 for the enclosure provided there is an aftermarket driver compatible with the enclosure...and I'm being generous.

Offer the $20...you won't get it as here's the GC counter-argument: this enclosure has been upgraded with new name-brand drivers...and everybody recognizes "Pyle".

Somebody got bad speaker upgrade advice on the internet and here’s the result.
The Dayton PA200-8 is a great driver for that cab. I've recommended this driver years ago for someone here on TB and he was more then satisfied with the results.
Point taken. ~$500 to get an obsolete and questionably desirable enclosure up-to-speed is not a project I would pursue. This is a losing proposition no matter how you look at it IMO.

Unless only one or two speakers needed replaced and those played nicely with the originals...
Otherwise, yeah, questionable value.

Well, those are subwoofers.
The price is amazing though. I guarantee you can double your money selling those individually.
But, I wouldn't plug an amo into it. It's probably running at .0036 ohm
That assumes the speakers are in working condition.
Personally I would be asking why somebody spent more on the wrong speakers than the intact cab is worth, and then immediately sold it to GC for 1/4 their cost.
Don't know about the Versa but a Henry 8x8 will fit in the cargo hold of a '96 Z28

I’d be willing to bet the speakers were changed solely for the color, and no other reason.
That cab could be incredibly useful. You could use it to store valuables like jewelry and important documents knowing nobody's ever going try to steal it.

The Dayton PA-200 was lot cheaper years ago, prices have gone up quiet a bit.
Oh the good ole’ days of massive bass cabs taking up more space than the drummer’s kit in the the van.
