Does it work without faulting the amp? I know my early Henry the 8x8 is wired parallel with 32 ohm speakers. Pyle Blue Wave 8” speakers are 4 ohm (according to Google search). Re-wiring the cabinet could fix the 4 ohm speaker issue, but I generally assume anyone using those speakers in that cabinet has no idea what they are doing.

The Dayton PA200-8 is a great driver for that cab. I've recommended this driver years ago for someone here on TB and he was more then satisfied with the results.

Point taken. ~$500 to get an obsolete and questionably desirable enclosure up-to-speed is not a project I would pursue. This is a losing proposition no matter how you look at it IMO.
