pretty much this for the most part, though I move around and jump a lot, and sometimes I just stand regularly and hold the bass. I don't make too many faces either while playing bass.

While playing the verse of a song, I place my left foot 19.38 centimeters in front of my right foot, maintaining a spacing of 28.2 centimeters between my feet (measured from center of arch to center of arch), with my left foot pivoted outwardly 7.5 degrees from parallel with my right foot.
During the chorus, I change it up by reducing the left foot pivot angle from 7.5 degrees down to 4.3 degrees, however, I continue to maintain the 28.2 centimeter spacing from arch to arch.
Last week during rehearsal, in the middle of a song, just for fun I tried reducing my foot spacing from 28.2 down to exactly 24 centimeters. Everyone in the band stopped playing at that moment, and the singer looked at me and said "dude......that was rad."
