What's your favorite (ok, top 2) CLF finish?

I can't help it, I'm a burst guy, but I just noticed that there are numerous finishes available now that weren't last time I looked.

I really dig their car culture tradition, and I think it's super cool that I have a bass with a 70s Caddy color, and a strap made out of 70s deadstock Caddy top vinyl... how does that even happen??

Haha my favorite is actually Royal Purple which isn't on the list, it's limited edition on some basswood L-1000s.
I like almost all of the CLF colors I've seen pictures of, but I'd have to see Matcha Green in person before buying one.
I generally don't care about the color of an instrument if it feels, plays & sounds great, but...

@ebo - does the Ruby Red "pop" in person like other G&L metallic finishes? Looks kinda flat in the pix I've seen.

I've had a few CLFs in natural (maybe it was transparent walnut?) mahogany and natural ash.

I love Blueburst. I've owned two Blueburst G&L basses.

Oddly enough, I don't have any now. My two G&L's are both brown.

I chose Andromeda and Tangerine Metallic... I have a '19 SB-2T (CLF serial number) in Spanish Copper Metallic, and I absolutely love this finish!

When I hear G&L my first thought is always Blue Burst

I voted for tangerine metallic and turquoise, but pharaoh gold gets an honorable mention.

I think I like matcha green too.

I am curious though: anyone know why blueburst is offered on all tributes and CLF basses? (Yes, I like blueburst.)

I voted Ruby Red Metallic which is great but my favorite G&L finish is Blackburst.

My favorites aren't listed. I like Tobacco Sunburst, [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] ... and Redburst, [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] ... I ordered an L2K in tobacco sunburst that I'm still waiting for, but it took me a long time to decide between the two.

I own and have owned several G&L instruments, but other than a Legacy guitar (my first), I didn't get the chance to select the colors. First of all, you have to say that G&L's sparkle finishes are far and away the nicest you'll ever see and if you're disposed to them, you can't go wrong.

Of the "clear" finishes, my favorite is Clear Forest Green - - you can see the wood's grain and the green color is just gorgeous. I also like the Clear Orange too.

One more - I like the Andromeda.

It pops in sunlight or good lighting. Hard to capture though.

I just like red but mostly the deeper reds. @Alivefor5 shows a good comparison. The finish is bright but the color is less in your face than candy apple. Adding a pic with stage lights.
