What's your favorite Roundwound?

I used to use DR Nickel Lo-Riders and I loved them. The feel, tone and responsiveness are excellent.

After moving to Florida and playing outdoors though, I found that I was constantly replacing them. That got pretty expensive so I started looking at coated string options.

I settled on Elixir Nickel Plated Steels in 45-105 for most of my basses. They sound and feel close enough to the DRs for my tastes and they seem to last forever. I actually have a set that was on a P-Bass for 12 years! They are very good feeling and still sound great.
