When ordering a new neck...

What do you mean by their warranty issue?

If you had a neck that was under warranty and something was wrong with it, the manufacturer would replace the neck but they would keep the old neck. Since your bass is almost as old as I am, warranty would not apply. You are just buying an aftermarket neck from a parts dealer so keep your old neck in case you don't like the new one.

Ibanez replacement necks:

Hoshino will not ship a neck without having the old neck in their possession first. Obviously this is always the case with regards to warranty replacement. It also true when the neck is not covered by warranty.

For the OP, none of this matters because he is purchasing an Allparts neck.
