Oh man, we shared soo many (single) dinners.
Used to love the evening before trash-day. Go out and rummage for furnishings and such.

Save chip bags so we could tear them open later and lick the crumbs and salt off the inside.
We were so poor, if a trip to the moon cost a nickel, we couldnt have afforded to get off the floor.
If you're going to do this, at least do it right....

Terry Wogan was so good hosting it, but when Les Dawson took over...wow...he cracked me up every time.

I did not know this was modeled after a British show. Either way, Gene Rayburn, Bret Somers, Charles Nelson Reilly and Richard Dawson with the other rotating guests were great on this show. That's my breakfast viewing every day. Always been a fan of that show.

Well, we were ok after we got married but before? Not so much
We both agreed to do our best to reduce our debt before the big day. And as part of doing that I sold my drums.

I remember one Christmas our family of 12 scrimped and saved and robbed and scammed and we were able to buy an egg.
