When I was new to TB, I thought it was great, then I slowly uncovered some unsavory characters who are better left unnamed.
How old were you when you first started playing?
I was 11 when I started playing bass
How long had you played when you signed up?
I signed up in 2012 so I was 19 so 8 years.
Are you/were you a working musician?
No I've never played for payment
What kind of music do/did you play?
I play rock, alt and classic being the majority. Trying to get more proficient.
What made you want to pick up bass?
My brother played guitar and drums and I am shy to sing so they as me to so I do.

Been playing sixteen years
Started bass at ten picked up guitar at fourteen or fifteen and drums at sixteen.
Played in multiple bands had some paying gigs and had a lot of gigs that didn't pay. Played in a lot of bands playing bass and guitar and drums.
Not a working musician I tip my hat to those who made/make it work. I made an attempt but was too young, dumb, and squandered the oppurtunity to go to music school. I didn't realize aside from playing how much promoting and work it is. Back then I just wanted to party and thought it would just come together.I was wrong and it is a regret I live with. I learned why people in music will say drive and passion before talent. Drive is what gets the job.
