Honestly the music mentioned on this thread to me has always been more pleasing.I assume the 80/20 rule applies in music as much as anything. 80% of people like 20% of the product. Most people will discuss mainstream stuff because that is common knowledge. I think a lot of us here are also play covers for money so we have to cater to the masses. I use to listen to experimental music back in the 80's and honestly my mucials sensibilities have devolved to more pleasing sounds.
