I'm in my dorm room, with my bass half hanging on my shoulder and half in my lap, waiting for my next class.

I'm sitting at home recovering from surgery. I had a pin put in my shoulder yesterday; it's been unstable for a while (subluxed, whatever that means), and causing me a lot of grief. So I won't be able to play a gig for at least a month (so I'm told), which sucks. So I'm taking some time to train my dog, the gallant and noble Sir Zachary. He's currently trying to prove (or disprove) the existence of God. I keep telling him to stay away from Religion, but will he listen? Still, I guess it's safer than his last hobby - Nuclear Physics. That made me a tad nervous, I must admit.

P.S. Yep, I am taking serious pain killers.

I'm sitting at home recovering from shoulder surgery, and I broke my toe yesterday as well. Not very painful (except when my dog stands on it), but annoying none the less. Yeah, I know, pity, pity, whoa whoa. I'm just bored to death because I can't play for more than a few minutes, and can't do any gigs for at least a month. Thankfully my brother-in-law convinced me take to out income insurance a few years back. Best $4.20 a week I ever spent.
