Nope just name change, Kalium now as 40hz posted. I hope they're still in business, only place I can get strings for my Quake.I've seen them mentioned on a lot of old threads but I can't find a working link for them anywhere. Did they go under?
But Kalium gives the lowest strings in a longer length than the other 3, and if your bass is longer than 36" from ball end to nut then they will taper before the nut.
Ok. Well, I've never bought any from them, but the info from their site is as follows: the .039-.130 set, the .130 is listed as Long Length and the rest as Universal Length, and the pic shows the lengths of the strings and Universal Length has 36" before the taper. So if it's a 35" scale and the bridge saddle is any longer than 1", then according to these specs, it will start to taper before the nut.Definitely not true. I had them on my Dingwall which is 36.25". They had about 39" of full wind.

If the actual length of their strings is other than these specs that are listed on the site, they should fix it. It's very confusing and really doesn't make sense. I've emailed several times and they never reply.

Right on. Well, let the record show that the specs on Kaliummusic.com are inaccurate and the Universal Length strings taper at 39".Yes their website may be out of date. Here's the Universal .102 from my set. As you can tell, if you were to pull the curled part straight, it wouldn't start tapering until around 39" or maybe even 40".
