Where can I learn to play like James Jamerson?

I guess one of my main questions are what scales is he using? I know about feeling the music its just I dont know too many scales, I mean I got my Major, Minor and Pentatonic scale but some of the notes he hits are so cool sounding

... don't worry about scales, or even worse, modes. Those chord progressions are pretty chromatic and scales aren't the answer.

Jamerson is probably the best counter example I can site to overly focusing on scales and modes.

Jamerson didn't play scales, he played chord tones and other notes.
His Jazz / Harmonic knowledge was a foundation for hitting those roots/chord tones on the important beats.
His other notes are composed of many things... chromatic runs... 8ve-5th-root rakes...scale tones...his rhythm was more crucial than his "scales"...

Get the book. Anthony Jackson wrote a good analysis of Jamerson's style in it.
