Oh no this is my main cable for my board and other unbal interconnects. XB20UB. Why can't I find it anywhere online? I used to just buy it by the foot from ebay...now I can't even find it for sale from suppliers. Where did it all go lol? It's as if it was wiped out of existence and maybe I dreamed it up.

The small diameter (~ .228") is important for my Lava CX plugs. These are short hops, one foot or much less.

I guess my actual question whether Canare GL6 the best substitute...

I'm in the same boat. Really like that cable - well-built, low capacitance, and reasonably priced. Canare GL6 is fine cable, but over double the capacitance if that matters for your use.

I contacted Gepco and they said one of their dealers has it in stock: http://www.avad.com/

But like you I couldn't find any place to buy it online; and flipping through a few sites I didn't see anything that looked to me like a direct substitute on all features/cost...

I also have been having trouble locating it recently. I like it for its low capacitance and resistance plus it's double braid shielding which is very effective and durable.
