I was scrolling through amp heads on Musicians Friend and saw that--for now anyway--they are only carrying the HA5500...wonder what happened with the rest? I'd heard a 600 watt class D was coming soon; are they making way for new models?

Where did the Hartkes go on MF?

hmmm... there's almost no hartke at GC, either, but there's lots of hartke gear at AMS. odd since GC, MF and AMS have the same parent company.
I think AMS is a different company, which also owns Zzounds. AMS has always carried Hartke, even when I was a kid. I don't remember MF\GC picking them up until at least early 2000's.
i've read hundreds of times on several music boards that AMS has the same owners, but it appears you may be right, at least according to the wikipedia stub. that seems cool to me - i buy from AMS a lot, and they treat me right. to be fair, so does GC and MF.

Samash "SAM's Son" Samson. Samson owns Hartke. So yes, I would think they do get special pricing, as in manufacturer's cost.
I played one of the new kickback combos at Sam Ash the other day. Really light, sounded good, plenty loud. My only negative was that there was LOTS of loud in the very first little bit of the pot. I prefer a more gradual slope. I'd gig that amp tho. It was the 15" version.
If you to the Samson website and search for online retailers that carry Hartke, you will not see GC or MF.
