where did you learn to build?

hey just wondering where different people learned how to build instruments

I took shop class at school as a kid and have been woodworking since

TB and TDPRI.

I have only made one bass body, but have assembled and finished two basses.

There is a project in the planning. I know how to build it. it's just a matter of design and money at this point. The latter is the biggest obstacle.
