Where do you work?

Just wondering what people here do for a living. I work in a manufacturing facility and I supervise the shipping and quality control departments. I am hoping to get a new job in sales at a local industrial supply company. Funny thing, I went to school for cooking and rest. management. What a career change!

I teach electronic music at a middle school. I have all the kids who said no to Band, Chorus, and Orchestra. I'm teaching them how to compose music with computers and synthesizers.

A lot of kids in my classes are the ones who play guitar and bass. The class gives them a lot to think about musically, and I've been able to direct a good number to private teachers. Some of them have formed bands and are getting into music in a way that most school organizations don't deal with.

Operations Network Management Technician...

I play with BSD, Linux and Solarus machines as well as Cisco, Adit, Adran routers and CSU at a small facility based Telephone & Internet company. My office is also a data center connected with dual OC48 connections. I spend a lot of time on the phone with Verizon troubleshooting down T1 circuits and such.

I work for www.woot.com as an online auctioneer, sales person, network admin, mail admin, and pretty much anything else anyone doesnt want to do, or isnt capable of doing here hehe.

No foolin?! I love that site. I just signed up for it last week. I haven't bought anything yet, but I usually get in before the close as I have to leave for work before 6:30. Some days I forget to check it, but as soon as I see something I really, really want, I'll grab it. Is it a big organization?
