I'm still in love with Yvon's Tung. That is hands down the only Jazz styled bass that I would seek out and try to own. I even like the sunburst.

Now if only I could go and play one...

Yamaha isn't exactly a low-quality manufacturer. Have you seen the new TRB-IIP series? They're ridiculously overpriced, yeah, but they're still world-class instruments. I've only seen the 6...I'd like to check out the 5. Supposedly, the neck has THE BEEF, which (as y'all know) I am all about.
