Where is the serial?

So i have been looking around for a MIJ/CIJ P bass.

I have found this site

Look at the headstock though, where are the all important serial numbers on the new Japanese Fenders?

In my experience, the serial is on the back of the neck towards the bottom near the body.

Yup, just looked closer, it's down by the bolts in silver print

Do you know what the main differenced between a 57 RI and a62 RI, they look identical to me.

Only difference I'm seeing is the 57 has a maple fretboard, the 62 has a rosewood fretboard. Seeing they are the same price, that could be all there is to it
