Me (the OP here) - I think 'warm' is a deep smooth sound with no harsh glass breaking peaks in it at all. It leans a little to the middle of the tones from the bass side, but never crosses the line to fresh or poignant.
Kinda like a smooth, slightly fruity wine at the perfect serving room temperature.
