I've had (and still have) several MAS cabs and they have all been completely reliable and utterly great sounding.

It looks like a couple of the crossover connections are soldered through the plastic sleeve. Maybe just the image but the work looks sloppy. Could be a bad connection.

Almost every comment I've seen in this thread is from somebody who is trying to be helpful (and the one post that wasn't was apologized for). When they're asking questions, it's because they need more information before they can provide the help you're asking for.

It's OK to not know everything or to make mistakes. There's going to be some back-and-forth to clear things up, and then you'll be able to make progress.

This is why I always recommend verifying that you are getting what you think you are buying. It's also why amp designers spend so much time (and cost) on protection circuits, we have to at least attempt to protect against such crap.

I am rural too - luckily a couple of hours from me is a genuine TV repair guy who has fixed PA speakers for me. Maybe there is someone like that near you? Good luck!
