Which 2x10" is loud enough?

I need a new amp, and I'm thinking it to be a 2x10" Hartke or maybe Nemesis.
Which is loud enough for club gigs, with electric drums, that has a good punch, and wont distort when I crank it up?
(The choice goes boyong Hartke and Nemesis, state your candidate!)

I use ATK300 and T21 PBDDI, so the amp will be for personal monitoring.

I would vote for either. Hartke has a awesome bright punchy tone that I am in love with. especially if you get the .5 version with the horn.

Although I LOVE eden equipment as well. I think it has a real good modern tone.

Both I would think would be plently loud enough. Although unless you liked the tone of the hartke better I would lean on the eden side.

I don't know if Carvin ships overseas (I would think they probably do) but their 210 neo cab is killer. I have one and it has replaced my 410 for club gigs.

It's small, light (43 pounds) and just totally kicks ass with my B1500 head. My bandmates turn around to look at it all the time when I'm playing because they can't believe all that bass is coming out of that little cab :)

Price is right too, about $400 in the USA.

Overseas shipping is only sensible for a company that does so regularly. Nobody wants to get stuck with customs and import taxes, especially if the manufacturer doesn't handle this all the time. Be careful.

Most cabs will handle the slap tone; it's just cut midrange.

As for distorting when you crank it up, any cab can distort. You would have to try the cab in your situation to see if it gets loud enough for you.

Since youre in Europe, do you have access to Hevos cabinets? There are a lot of good reviews for the Hevos cabs, and one of this forum's bigger posters, tom bowlus wrote up a nice review of their Midget cab. Their 2x10" cab plus tweeter lists for 990 euros, don't know the street price.

otherwise i gigged with an Eden 210XST for a couple years and was happy with it. the XLT sounds great too, but it was 70 lbs, and too heavy for my lazy self.

Oooh, Hevos! I almost forgot about them. Yes, I'd check out a Hevos 2x10, for sure. That Midget (1x10) is stupid, crazy loud for its size, but more clear and full-range sounding than some other very loud cabs which seem to get most of their usable volume in a more narrow frequency range (or hump).

The Bergantino HS210 is another fairly loud 2x10, and though I've just started playing with it, the TechAmp 2x10 I just got in for review seems very impressive in the volume category. The Glockenklang Duo is another stellar 2x10, IMHO.

However, I do have my doubts as to the viability of a single 2x10 as a gigging rig. They sound plenty strong when you are playing by yourself, but depending upon what you need to compete with on stage, a single smaller cab like a 2x10 can often get lost in the mix. It all depends upon what instruments you are competing with and how loud the other musicians play.
