Which amp should I get?

I need to know which amp would be better for say just jamming with friends or the occasional tiny gig. I could get a $159 Orange amp that is 25W, or a $250 50 W Orange amp. The obvious choice would be the 50W, but it is also $100 more, which I don't have. I am on a limited budget, but I also don't know if the 25W would be loud enough. So what would be the best choice for me?

Edit: I am leaning more towards the 25W one since I need the amp sort of soon, and I could get the 25W a lot faster than the 50W.

I think I may have to get that amp. I love Peavey stuff, so I don't really think I'll be disappointed.
