Which Amp Trace Elliot 715 or GK MB115?

Some others have asked about or actually purchased the Trace Elliot amp from AMS and there are those who've had problems with reliability. Make sure you're not getting someone's return. THE GK, on the other hand, has been well-received here. I just bought the 210 and really love the tone, though there are people who think it's dark-sounding, but it fits my sound quite well.

I've also played through the 115 and for the money I think it's a great deal provided you're not planning on running any extension speakers and can "live" with 200 watts. Try them out if you can and see what you think, but I'd vote for the MB115.

I have the Trace Elliot 715 combo and I think it's fantastic. I wanted a small 15" combo, and this one is perfect for me. The EQ and Compression are my favorite parts. It's built very solid. You can't run an extension, but that's not why I bought a small combo anyway. It runs it's full 200 watts at 4 ohms through it's own single speaker.
I haven't tried the GK, but I haven't heard anything bad about them either.
Good luck!
