Thanks

I'm assuming they are similarily priced? If so, simply buy the one that plays better. Also do you want a 5 string? If you bought one would you play it. I did a similar thing were I bought a 4 string fender Jazz(I play 5's) now the Jazz sits in it's case and isn't ever used since I am used to 5's and prefer to play them.

IMHO:

both Arias are reknowned for bein' well balanced and neutral soundin' instruments, that said they're not particularly (aka
"never") sought after

MIJ Ibby SR800 are very famous basses from early 90s (much like mid 80s MIJ Fender Jazz Special) their basswood body and P/J configuration (and early prototype of late famous VariMid electronics) place'em ahead of the race in term of resale value

Cheers,
Wallace

Well #2 is a vintage MIJ ibby. Because of this I makes me hesitate to go for it plus it is only 4string. Also the Pre-amp is only a 2 band EQ with LO-Z PU and can be played with no batteries installed.
