Paint it the colors of your favorite sports team.
Heh, my favourite teams colours are red/blue/yellow, so it would end up looking like 'Fisher price: My first Bass Guitar'

Paint it all red, and then put two white racing stripes down the centre block, like a Ford GT...
In fact, I have a red Thunderbird. I might do this. Quickly! To the photoshop thread!

Im pretty pleased with the result, debating painting the neck red with a white pinstripe down the back, maybe a white headstock, but not sure yet.

as a body shop guy i would like to make one suggestion to you when it comes to the striping. find a red crushed glass paint and find a guy who will hand pinstripe right along the very edge of the red where the red touches the white to give your stripes more definition and seperation and not end up with a "flat" or "whats missing" look. it looks real good but i think this would make it scream subtly. its all in the detail.
new cars dont have to do this because they have contours but if you ever see striping on the sides of cars with flat wide open spaces you will se this technique used ALOT
